We should all care for our common home, because the bible has claimed that the world will end one day. You never know, it might end tomorrow, in a year or maybe in ten thousand years the world will end. No one knows when. But God does. We should all care for our common home, like we should never throw away stuff that we just bought, but we should throws things in the bin, but not the stuff that we just bought!

On Friday with the seniors we had an excursion to Jawbone Sanctuary. What I understood about Jawbone Sanctuary is that it was actually a firing range with rifles. Also there has been a bit of human impact at the Sanctuary like there has been a bit of rubbish there. It was really cool how we got to see rock pools and some sea snails underwater. Overall I didn’t like this excursion, the reason why I didn’t like this excursion is because it was just boring. Like we just had to explore a beach and there wasn’t really anything to learn there, like I just learnt one thing over there. We better go to an another place next time.

Yesterday we in class we did inquiry which was on Australian animals. We got to learn about one specific animal and we got to share about it. What I learn’t about some peoples presentations is that some did some dot points on there slides instead of writing a paragraph. Also at the end of the presentations they asked some questions like a quiz.

My favourite biome is a desert. The reason why I like the desert is because it’s cool how there is sand and no plants to annoy you and that sometimes the desert is open so you can set up a camp or park a caravan there. Also sometimes you might find a oasis and that you can rest there. But the things that are bad about the desert is that there is no water, no shade and that it’s really hot. Overall I love the desert!

Today at school two people from the Whitehorse Council were teaching us about the Transit Program. Which is Public Transport. They were talking about the safety, environment and health. They also were asking us questions about what public transport we will use in high school. They also had a quiz so just in case you were listening!

I didn’t have much on in my holidays, but I had one thing on the holidays that I liked. It was when I went to my friends house who lives on my street. We played PS3 together, we went to the park and we also watched some TV. It was fun because when we were playing on the PS3. We started versing each other on FIFA 15 and I scored one goal and my friend didn’t, so I won! So I had a great time.

Today at school we had a Mini Fair. Each class had a stall and there were toys, healthy snacks, books, cakes, face painting and hair spray. The Social Justice leaders ran the Mini Fair and they donated all the money to Buhay Tuluyan to help the poor. I felt happy because I got to eat cake and that we got to help the poor.

In class we’ve been doing poetry in our literacy and we work with a partner on that type of poem and we study about it. Each day of the week, everyone showed their research on a poem to the whole class and the other students in the class had to write down some notes and they had to make up their own poem on that same poem. Like everyone made a Google Doc. The poems were, Limerick, Clerihew, Cinquain, Diamante, Sonnet, Lantern, Haiku and a Tanka poem. My favorite poem overall was the Lantern this is what I wrote on my Google Doc.

The book One Minutes Silence is telling everyone about the fearsome war with the Australians and the Turks from World War 1. In the book there were fascinating illustrations so you understand more of the story line and there is also a couple of sentences on some pages as well.

I didn’t know there would be racism in AFL, but I was wrong. Some football players have been recently offended by some people in the crowd. Like Adam Goodes got offended by a 13 year old girl calling him inappropriate names but after she got kicked out from the cops. Also a Chinese footy player got offended by his team mate because he missed the goal and that his team mate called him a name. So don’t be a bystander, stand up strong.
